Synnova, meaning "a beautiful sight", perfectly describes boating in the Pacific Northwest. Come along with us as we explore the waters on our 42' North Pacific.

Beginning a New Adventure
Today was the day that we got our keys to our new 2006 42' North Pacific which we have named Synnova. We looked at her last Labor Day when we were in Port Ludlow for the EYC cruise. The first picture shows two of my friends (Sue and Cheryl) looking through the window as I explained the layout. We knew she was on the short list for our new boat but did a little more looking around. We sold the Nordic Tug (Stargazer) and then finally made our offer in November. All the pieces came together today and we made our trip over to Port Ludlow to pick her up. Our friend, Jerry, went with us so that he and Bob could run it back to Everett. The second picture shows the previous owner, Steve, handing us the keys to our boat. The last two are of Bob and Jerry arriving at the guest dock at the Everett Marina. This evening we spent a couple of hours cleaning and disposing of some things we didn't need and then enjoyed dinner at Scuttlebutt's with Holly and Jerry. Later, Robyn, Gavin and the kids came for a short visit and got a tour of the boat. Everyone loved it and the kids had a great time exploring. Cohen had been on it with us when we first looked at it and I overheard him tell Avery "I'll show you around". It was a great evening and very exciting to finally be the owner. It has a second cabin, a larger salon and a fly bridge which are all things that will make it easier to entertain friends and family. We are looking forward to a new chapter in boating with Synnova.
