We did not do much today. It was a very lazy day and
Pierre’s lost their generator so we had no electricity, internet or cell
phones. There is very limited cell coverage up here anyway but the day we
arrived we used their cell booster up by the dining hall and it worked well
enough to get texts out. Today we had none of those things so it was a good day
to get a lot of reading done. Or sleeping! But also a photo of the entire
marina with his drone.
We did go out in the kayaks about 1:30 and explored
the bay from the marina around to the back of Billy Proctor’s. We did not go a
long way but it was still fun to get out and do something. We have been sitting
around so much that we have been snacking all day. Not a good thing to do when
you aren’t getting any exercise.
This evening our group were invited over Mark and
Lisa’s boat to watch a comedy about boating called “Captain Ron”. It was a very
funny movie, especially if you are a boater and can relate to many of the
things that go wrong. Moon brought mini cheesecakes for everyone and we all
contributed popcorn, M&Ms, and cookies. Charlie and Diane Long joined us,
too. It was a very fun time for all of us.
